At Tidy Green Clean, supporting the communities where we live and work is fundamental to who we are. Every year we contribute to Castlehill Housing Association’s Community Benefit fund, and during the 2025 festive season we were proud to focus our efforts on organisations making a real, positive difference in people’s lives.
Through Castlehill’s Community Benefit fund, we donated £1,000 each to Social Bite, Somebody Cares, and Aberdeen North Foodbank. These donations helped provide vital support to individuals and families facing homelessness, hardship, and food insecurity across the region.
David Moncur, our Operations Director of TGC, said:
“We were delighted to support these incredible organisations through Castlehill’s Community Benefit fund. It’s important to us that our contributions make a tangible difference in the communities we serve, especially during the festive season.”
Giving back has always been part of our identity at TGC. We’re a business rooted in community engagement, and our involvement goes far beyond this annual contribution. Across our six regions, from Aberdeen and Tayside to Edinburgh, Glasgow & West, Forth Valley, and Highlands & Moray, we’re committed to creating jobs, supporting local charities, sponsoring sports clubs, and backing community events that bring people together.
Whether it’s through grassroots sponsorships, charity partnerships, or regional events, we strive to play an active part in the places we serve. We also encourage our team to get involved in local initiatives and support causes that matter to them personally, because we genuinely believe that business success and the wellbeing of our communities go hand in hand.
Alana Allison of Castlehill commented:
“Castlehill really likes to pull out the stops to help local Charities over the festive season. Last festive season we concentrated our fundraising efforts on Social Bite, Somebody Cares and Aberdeen North Foodbank, giving £1000 to each, helping them ensure that the most vulnerable people in our area enjoy some Christmas cheer. We want to thank Tidy Green Clean for contributing to the Community Benefit fund which allows us to support local charities.”
By supporting local charities and initiatives through Castlehill’s Community Benefit fund, we helped ensure meaningful contributions were made during the 2025 festive season. We’reincredibly proud of this work and remain dedicated to continuing our community engagement, not just during the holidays, but throughout the year. Together with partners like Castlehill and the organisations we support, we’re helping to strengthen our communities and create positive, lasting impact for everyone.
