This month, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone, six years of Igors being part of the Tidy Green Clean journey. Over the years, Igors has played a key role in delivering high standards, supporting colleagues, and helping drive excellence across Aberdeen North.
We caught up with him to reflect on his journey so far, what excites him about the industry, and what the future holds.
Thank you so much! It’s hard to believe it’s already been six years with Tidy Green Clean.
I started my journey with TGC looking for a fresh opportunity to grow, be part of a supportive team, and make a real difference for clients. From day one, I was drawn to the company’s commitment to quality service and eco-friendly practices. It wasn’t just about cleaning offices, it was about creating healthier, more hygienic environments and building trust within the community.
There have been so many memorable moments along the way. One that really stands out is seeing clients’ reactions after a transformation clean, the genuine appreciation and relief on their faces never gets old. I’ve also loved being part of the team’s growth over the years, celebrating milestones together, and mentoring new team members as they start their own journeys.
These six years have been full of learning and meaningful connections, and I’m so grateful for that. I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings.
What I value most about working at TGC is the strong sense of teamwork and support. It genuinely feels like everyone is working toward the same goal, delivering great service while also caring for one another.
I really appreciate the focus on eco-friendly practices and high standards. It makes me proud of the work we do and the positive impact we have in our clients’ workplaces. Being part of a team that recognises effort, encourages growth, and celebrates achievements makes it a great place to be.
What excites me most is how the cleaning industry is becoming more innovative and sustainable. There’s a strong shift toward eco-friendly, non-toxic products and reduced waste, which is better for both the environment and people’s health.
Technology is also transforming the way we work. From smart monitoring systems to improved scheduling and quality control tools, cleaning is becoming more efficient and data-driven. Automation, like robotic equipment, helps support teams by handling repetitive tasks so we can focus on detailed, high-value work and customer care.
Overall, it’s exciting to see cleaning increasingly recognised as a professional, essential service that directly supports healthier workplaces.
In 2026, the future looks dynamic and full of opportunities, shaped by technology, sustainability, evolving client expectations, and a stronger focus on professionalism.
I’ll be celebrating my 6-year anniversary at TGC by taking a moment to reflect on how far I’ve come and the journey I’ve been on. It’s a great chance to appreciate the experiences, the amazing team I work with, and all the clients I’ve had the pleasure of helping over the years.
I’m looking forward to marking the milestone with the team, sharing a few laughs, and feeling proud to be part of something that’s grown and achieved so much. However, the job is not completed yet, there is so much more we can achieve as a Group.
