Hugh McGarry, Regional Director of Tidy Green Clean Forth Valley is celebrating latest business wins in the region. Working with both national and local organisations like Portakabin, and Caledonian Conservation, spanning a wide range of different industry sectors, including Retail and Science & Laboratories, 2021 has got off to a flying start.
Tidy Green Clean Forth Valley is a franchised operation of the growing facilities cleaning business, Tidy Green Clean (TGC), which is headquartered in Aberdeen. Hugh McGarry bought his franchise in early 2020 and has grown his business through a combination of successfully harnessing the convincing service offering, ethos and USPs TGC provides, and his conviction that local networking with like-minded business owners builds both meaningful commercial relationships and a highly supportive local business community.
TGC Forth Valley’s new business contracts encompass both SMEs and national businesses and comprises commercial cleaning services, often across multiple sites and locations. Hugh McGarry is now working with Portakabin (construction), which has also facilitated other TGC franchisees being offered work in their regions. Following a successful launch clean for Peloton in Glasgow in late 2020, McGarry’s team is now working with Peloton on a second store opening later this year in another Scottish city in the region. A first for any TGC franchise, TGC Forth Valley will be working with MiAlgae in Edinburgh, a business using science and technology to improve food security and reduce the impact of humanity on the planet, something close to the cultural heart of the TGC franchise group. Finally, the business is now providing office and other cleaning for Caledonian Conservation, who provides a range of ecology and ornithology services for development and conservation in the UK
Commenting on these latest wins, Hugh McGarry said, “We are a growing business, and we have an attractive and high value service offering that our customers find complements their own environmental, people and commercial ambitions. The global pandemic has raised significant awareness about the importance of office hygiene, both on a general and deep level, and we have worked hard to deliver deep cleaning and fogging services to many customers over the past year, and we anticipate this requirement will continue for some time.
“These new business contracts are particularly noteworthy because they represent both repeat and expanding business, as well as brand new commercial partnerships. I am extremely proud of my team and look forward to delivering high levels of service and support to our new customers and everyone we work with. Tidy Green Clean is disrupting the commercial facilities cleaning landscape because we combine technology, put people at our centre and are driven to improve our environmental impact, while offering an exemplary service to the businesses we partner.”
Tidy Green Clean is the leading environmentally focused national franchise cleaning operation for blue chip organisations and provide local franchisees and Regional Directors with the knowledge, training and support to be successful business owners, making the business model unique within the facilities management industry. It achieved IS0 9001; 14001; and 45001 in under three years and a place in the top UK franchises, the EF100 for 2020 and 2021. Rooted in green practices and technologies, the business is focused on understanding its customers and employees, and how to be successful without that being at the expense of other people or the planet; they are also members of the Approved Franchise Association.
