Tidy Green Clean Glasgow and West has reached a major milestone after securing more than £1 million in new contracts, just under three years after launching in May 2023.
Since establishing the region, the business has grown steadily across Glasgow and the West of Scotland, building strong relationships with a wide range of commercial clients based on reliability, consistency, and high standards of service.
The achievement reflects a fast-paced period of growth for the team, with demand continuing to rise across the region.
Regional Director Scott Melville has played a central role in developing the Glasgow and West operation, taking a hands-on approach to building relationships and supporting the business as it continues to expand.
A clear focus on being present in the region, meeting clients regularly, and maintaining close communication with teams on the ground has helped support steady growth and open up new opportunities.
Alongside expansion, the business has placed real emphasis on maintaining high operational standards, with a focus on carbon-negative cleaning services and key industry accreditations including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. These frameworks have helped underpin consistency, environmental responsibility, and health and safety across all sites.
This approach has supported sustainable growth, ensuring service quality remains consistent while the business continues to scale across the region.

The team has grown significantly over the past year, increasing from 35 staff to 110 as demand for services has continued to rise across the region.
As the business has expanded, recruitment has naturally become one of the key focus areas, particularly when it comes to maintaining consistent standards across multiple sites. Despite the pace of growth, the team has adapted well, with strong internal support helping day-to-day operations continue smoothly.
Scott highlighted the importance of the wider team, adding:

Their hard work and commitment day in, day out has made all the difference, and it’s been great to see the business grow the way it has across the region. In particular, Margret-Anne, our Cleaning Manager, has been a huge support in Glasgow. She’s played a really important role in helping grow the team while maintaining consistency across contracts and keeping everything running smoothly.”
The business is now working towards further expansion, with plans to increase headcount to around 200 staff by the end of the year.

Following the milestone of securing more than £1 million in new contracts, Tidy Green Clean Glasgow and West is now focused on its next major target of reaching £2 million in contract wins by the end of the year.
The focus moving forward is on strengthening existing client relationships, expanding service delivery across additional sites, and continuing to support a growing number of businesses throughout the region. Recruitment and training will also remain central priorities as the team continues to scale.
