Our teams based in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Forth Valley, Tayside & Newcastle have numerous clients across all sectors including offices, education, retail, healthcare, manufacturing as well as specialised one-off work.

Our commercial model comprises master franchises run by regional directors, local franchisees and employed cleaners. This low start-up model with minimal costs and finance is one of a kind in the UK, elevating the role of cleaner into entrepreneur.

There is no Tidy Green Clean without Family

Our story starts thousands of miles away in New Zealand, the birth place of our co-founder and Managing Director, Andrew Alleway. Having played a pivotal role in establishing one of New Zealand’s top commercial cleaning companies Andrew saw an opportunity to use the knowledge he had gained in the industry to offer something completely different within the UK commercial cleaning industry.

After many late-night conversations with his brother-in-law (our other co-founder and Operations Director, David Moncur) the two men found that they both shared a vision to create a locally operated environmentally friendly company.

The roots were well and truly established and Tidy Green Clean was born.

The safety of our cleaners, customers and colleagues is always at the forefront of our minds so we use and promote eco-friendly cleaning products that contain no harmful chemicals and are:

  • Derived from sustainable, plant-based resourceserived from sustainable, plant-based resources
  • Phosphonate and phosphate free
  • Biodegradable
  • Non-flammable

We also invest in efficient, innovative, environmentally friendly ‘green’ tools and techniques, such as low-wattage vacuum cleaners and microfiber mops leading to a reduced carbon footprint.

This allows us to offer a safe eco friendly service without compromising on quality.

Although we cover the whole of Scotland and North England our team of Regional Directors make sure our business remains firmly rooted in the local community.

We believe that local communities are the backbone of every town and city in the country and that is why we don’t only create clean and clear working environments we also support local charities and projects.

In Aberdeen for example, we support a number of great causes including the Not For Landfill Campaign, Buy North-East and We Too! Magazine.
